The Wilderness First Aid (WFA) course is one of designed for the outdoor enthusiast,
trip leader, raft guide, recreationalist or land agency field staff who spend time in rural or
wilderness areas. The WFA is a great introduction to wilderness medicine and
basic life support skills. This training focuses on prevention, assessment, and
treatment of environmental illnesses, recognizing and stabilizing life threats
caused by trauma, addressing common medical concerns and calling for a rescue in the event of a wilderness emergency.  Curriculum follows the Wilderness Medicine Education Collaborative (WMEC) guidelines.

Upon completion of this course you will receive the following:

-              DMM WFA (2 year certification)

-              DMM Wilderness Anaphylaxis Training (2 year certification)

-              CPR (2 year certification through DMM)
